　　Teeth are important. Strong, healthy teeth help us chew (咀嚼) food that helps us grow. They help us speak clearly. And, they help us look our best. Here is some advice for us to take care of our teeth.
　　★  Brush our teeth the right way.
　　Brush our teeth at least twice a day—after breakfast and before bedtime. If we can, brush after lunch, too.
　　Brush all of our teeth, not just the front ones. Spend time brushing teeth along the sides, and back of our mouth. Brush takes us away from gums (牙齦), too.
　　Spend at least three minutes each time we brush. Play a song we like to help pass the time. Get a new toothbrush every 3 months. When we buy our toothbrush, be sure it is a good one.
　　★  Learn how floss(用牙線清潔) our teeth.
　　Flossing is a very important way to keep our teeth healthy. Food may hide in places where a toothbrush cannot get to, like the space between two teeth. Flossing can help get it out. Carefully move the floss between two teeth, up and down. We’ll need to floss our teeth at least once a day.
　　★ Have good eating habits.
　　We need to be careful about what we eat and drink. Eating sugar is a main reason of making things even worse. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables and drink water instead of other kinds of drinks.
